FAQ — solar and EV charging stations

What services does EV Power Energy offer?

EV Power Energy installs solar for homes, factories and commercial buildings, installs EV charging stations, and supplies solar equipment and battery storage, with after-sales panel cleaning and Nano Coating, serving customers throughout Thailand

How much does home solar installation cost?

Solar installation prices depend on system size: about 90,000–130,000 baht for 3 kW, about 150,000–210,000 baht for 5 kW and about 280,000–380,000 baht for 10 kW, including the full equipment set and installation labor. Actual prices are confirmed after a site survey

How long does solar take to pay back?

For homes with bills of 3,000–5,000 baht a month, on-grid solar usually pays back in about 5–7 years, while factories that mainly use power during the day pay back faster. Calculate from your actual bill on the Savings + Tax Deduction calculator page

How do I invest in an EV charging station with EV Power Energy?

We design and install complete EV charging stations, from choosing high-speed DC chargers and OCPP-standard billing to electrical work, permits and post-installation care. See the Super EV Hub page for details, or fill in the form for a free site assessment

Can I charge my EV at home with solar?

Yes — and it's the most cost-effective way to use it, because your EV charges during the day straight from your roof. The Huawei Smart Charger supports Dynamic Charging Power, adjusting charging power to your solar output so you draw less from the grid

What permits does solar installation require?

On-grid systems connected to the utility require an application to the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) or Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), plus building modification notification depending on system size. EV Power Energy handles all the paperwork and coordination for you

Which areas do you install solar in?

We serve the whole country, with offices in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Nonthaburi. Our installation teams can survey sites across the North, Central region and Greater Bangkok
