Home solar prices depend on system size: about 90,000–130,000 baht for 3 kW, 150,000–210,000 baht for 5 kW and 280,000–380,000 baht for 10 kW, including the full equipment set and installation labor

On-grid systems need grid connection approval from the utility (PEA or MEA depending on area), an energy business notification to the Ministry of Energy/ERC, and a building modification permit from the municipality or sub-district office. Yes, through the ERC's people's solar program: PEA/MEA buy your surplus power at 2.20 baht/unit on a 10-year contract, for up to 5 kW per meter.
