C&I Battery Storage
Energy storage for factories and businesses
C&I (Commercial & Industrial) batteries differ from home batteries in size, cooling and safety standards. They are used to cut Demand Charges, shift consumption from On-Peak to Off-Peak, back up production lines and store surplus solar for the night. EV Power Energy installs two main platforms: Huawei and Sigenergy
LUNA2000-215 / 241 Series Smart String ESS

What can a C&I battery do?
Discharge the battery when the factory draws peak power, lowering the Peak Demand used to calculate the monthly bill
Charge during cheap Off-Peak hours and discharge during more expensive On-Peak hours
Store daytime solar you don't need for the evening and night instead of wasting it
Keep power flowing during outages, reducing losses from stopped lines and process waste
Replace or cut diesel generator hours, saving fuel and maintenance
Raise the share of clean energy actually used in the factory, with historical data for reporting

* Figures are taken from manufacturer datasheets. Actual designs always require a Load Profile Analysis and Site Survey first

For factories and businesses, Demand Charges from power spikes when machines start up are a hard cost to control. A battery system shaves those peaks by discharging when the load is highest
Beyond cutting bills, the system backs up production processes that can't stop, preventing damage and lost revenue from sudden outages
Scales from small businesses to heavy industry, with an energy management system (EMS) that schedules charging and discharging for maximum benefit
Service highlights
- ✓Shave Peak Demand to cut Demand Charges
- ✓Backup for production lines that can't stop
- ✓Scales from SMEs to heavy industry
- ✓Smart energy management with EMS
